- I write for a newspaper in Northern California. I'm the underacheiver brother. Dan got a doctorate in Spanish literature and teaches Spanish at a boys college in Indiana and H.L. got a law degree from Harvard. I simply got my bachelors and ran for the workplace. I'm married to Miss Wyoming 1996 and I have three daughters, a 7-year-old, a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old. Becky is the beauty queen that refuses to the play the part of the beauty queen. I think it's because she's completely grounded, but mostly it's because her beauty isn't flash and fad, it's classic and eternal -- you know, in a Grace Kelly-Ingrid Bergman sort of way. We've been married for nine years. I grew up in Colorado, moved to Utah when I was a junior in high school and served a mission in Mexico. Yes, that means I'm Mormon. I got into journalism because I like writing and I like seeing my name in print. But, because I'm not writing for the New York Times or something, the pay stinks. I constantly think about selling out and changing professions.

Those were almost my exact words! It's false hope is what it is.
oh, come on folks! u2, although they've made some missteps in recent decades, are still a great band.
My wife is psyched about this movie; she's seen u2 live 8 times, since WAR, except she missed the Vertigo tour.
Our friends saw it at Sundance and LOVED it. One of them could tie with Rob for U2 enthusiasm (i kid you not) and the other onehas had to "adapt" and they BOTH loved it. Can't wait to see it.
