Here's your quote of the day.
My friend and I have been talking about the new U2 single "Get on Your Boots" which dropped late last night. (You can hear it here.) As far as I'm concerned, he summed it up perfectly:
"It's Vertigo as interpreted by a Moroccan DJ."
The next Apple Beer's on me, Jense.

I dunno...I kinda dig it. It sounds more raw and heavy but I see your point re: Vertigo. Are they trying a bit too hard to be hip here or am I reading too much into it. It's gotta be tough for these guys, to be fair. People want them to fail, which is what hapens when you become too popular. I think it's clouding people's judgement, mine included, but it's just so damn hard to separate the music from the myth.
I'm rooting for them, I really am. The world needs another Achtung Baby!
completely agree with tyt
Sexy boots? The idea evokes images of Sarah Jessica Parker, although why I'm not really sure.
